Whenever a tooth is lost, it is preferable to restore the space and maintain occlusal stability. One option is a dental implant.

This is where a titanium threaded screw is placed in the jaw, this then acts as the foundation for a crown, much like the root of a natural tooth.

We refer patients to a specialist for placement of the implant, once the implant is stable the patient returns to us to have a crown placed.
